| Just a little trim or a pretty fabric and these
little dollies really look cute in this newest dress! Their all vinyl bodies
look especially lovely with the square neckline and little tailored sleeves! Linda's
dress (2nd picture) shows simple machine embroidery, using a built in stitch, on the
sleeves, bodice insert and hem. If you wish to add embroidery to the waist, stitch
it on ribbon to match or coordinate with the dress and sew it on before sewing on the
skirt.
Georgia (3rd picture) is wearing a dress with a cute little check/cherries print. The
bodice insert was cut on the bias and a row of baby rick rack was sewn into the seam with
the bodice lining, which is cut on the straight of grain. The baby rick rack was
added to the hem of the sleeves and inserted into the hem of the skirt too. The
little rounded bumps on the rick rack look like rows of cherries!
