This may be the perfect thing for all your
dolls without jointed knees! Now, they can sit on the floor or their bed in comfort!
Check your fabric stash for fabric to make your backrest. Corduroy, lightweight denim, left over lightweight upholstery fabrics and other similar weight fabric.
One of the 3 sizes included in this pattern is sure to fit your favorite doll. Not really difficult to make, there is a lot of matching of dots and starting and stopping stitching. The piping adds to the sewing, so make the first one from the medium or large size, without piping to get the feel of how this goes together. Once you've made one, the next one will be a breeze. The piping does make them look more like the real thing, but, hey! they are only dolls! |
